Grounded in Living.
Industrial pipe fittings combined with flame-charred Japanese cedar. Grounded and weighted so it stays firmly in place when pulling out a book or resting everyday items. Finished with natural wood wax.
Surface flame-charred and hand-brushed. Wax-sealed, but avoid rubbing firmly against white walls.
Uncoated bare brass that gradually oxidizes with daily touch and air, developing deep metallic patina.

Uses and settings
A wall shelf for a coffee corner, living room or entrance. The charred cedar shelf carries a BREAK TIME stencil and brass faucet fittings. Display a coffee canister, paperback, small succulent, cup, bud vase or key tray.

Before you buy
The approximately 9.5 cm shelf depth is not suitable for large art books, wide plant pots or several heavy ceramic objects. Brass naturally develops a darker, antique appearance with time.
Surface protection and care
Hanging hardware is fitted to the back. Check plasterboard or wooden-wall stud positions and use suitable fixings. Dust the wood with a dry cloth; after damp wiping, wipe dry.

The approximately 9.5 cm usable depth accommodates paperbacks, compact books, ordinary mugs and coffee canisters.
Will the brass change color?
Yes. Air and contact with skin gradually deepen the color of the brass toward an antique gold.
What should I consider when mounting it on plasterboard?
The body weighs approximately 0.98 kg. Use dedicated pin hooks with an appropriate load rating and do not place excessively heavy items on the shelf.
