Grounded in Living.
Industrial pipe fittings combined with flame-charred Japanese cedar. Grounded and weighted so it stays firmly in place when pulling out a book or resting everyday items. Finished with natural wood wax.
Surface flame-charred and hand-brushed. Wax-sealed, but avoid rubbing firmly against white walls.
Threaded industrial steel pipes and cast fittings, cleaned of machine oil and finished with protective clear coat.

Uses and settings
Use it as a second-screen or video-call stand beside a computer, a place for recipe videos and timers on a kitchen counter, or a sculptural resting place in a study, garage or beside a bed. Its approximately 1 kg weight is intended to resist tipping during taps, including with wet hands.
Dimensions and specifications
Large board: approximately 25 × 10 × 2 cm. Small support board: approximately 10 × 5 cm. Overall depth: approximately 18 cm. Total weight: approximately 0.97 kg. Fits ordinary smartphones up to approximately 16 mm thick including the case, in portrait or landscape orientation.
Before you buy
Very thick protective cases or cases with a rear ring may not sit deeply in the support. Industrial fittings and retro faucet hardware retain original wear and variations in texture. Hand-charred natural cedar varies in grain and color.
Surface protection and care
Use commercial protective felt if contact between the wood or metal and a delicate desktop is a concern. For routine care, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a large smartphone or tablet?
The approximately 0.97 kg body supports large smartphones, including Pro Max-sized phones, in either orientation with limited movement during taps. Tablets of 10 inches or more have a higher center of gravity and can tip; smartphones and small devices around paperback size are recommended.
Can I leave the case or ring on?
The support accommodates a device and case up to approximately 16 mm thick. Thin or ordinary silicone and folio cases can remain fitted. Check thick protective cases and protruding rings, which can affect the angle or seating depth.
Can I charge the phone in portrait orientation?
A cable in the bottom-center connector may interfere with the support. Use landscape orientation or adjust the connector position while charging.
Could it scratch or mark the desk?
The charred wood has been carefully brushed to remove soot and given a protective finish to prevent carbon transfer during normal use. Use protective felt under the contact points on delicate solid wood or painted desks to help prevent scratches.
